Lauren Janise brings a wealth of hands-on educational expertise and a deep commitment to student advocacy across Angleton and surrounding school districts. As a dedicated Special Education professional, she has spent her career ensuring that students of all abilities receive equitable access to resources, encouragement, and opportunities to thrive, values that align seamlessly with Bridge The Gaps’ mission.

In her new role, Lauren will support Bridge The Gaps initiatives including:

  • Scholarship and Ancillary Support Programs – Providing guidance to ensure students with diverse learning needs are fully supported.

  • Families First & Mentorship Initiatives – Helping develop strategies that meet students where they are academically, socially, and emotionally.

  • Community Engagement in Brazoria County & Beyond – Expanding outreach efforts within Angleton ISD and neighboring districts to connect more families with vital resources.

Lauren also brings meaningful experience in nonprofit fundraising and donor engagement. Throughout her career, she has actively supported fundraising initiatives that fuel programming for under-served students and families. Her understanding of grassroots fundraising, school-community partnerships, and stakeholder engagement will further strengthen Bridge The Gaps’ development strategy and long-term sustainability.
